Based on how popular the Black Style Package is on its other models, Volkswagen South Africa has decided to implement the option on its smallest offering, the Polo Vivo.
Stefan Knapp, head of the Volkswagen Passenger Car brand, said the decision came after looking at the success of the Tiguan and Touareg 'Black Style Package' models. “The Black Style Package is a popular optional package and its success in the Tiguan and Touareg models motivated our decision to also introduce it in the new Golf GTI and now the Polo Vivo.”
Available only on Comfortline and Highline derivatives, the Black Styling Pack is also limited to certain paint choices. VW notes that it can only be optioned in conjunction with Pure White, Reflex Silver, Flash Red and Reef Blue.
At R9 000 for Comfortline and R8 250 for Highline models, what do you receive?
16-inch, black-painted 'Portago' alloy wheels, a body-coloured boot spoiler, privacy glass and a chrome exhaust tip are all included. What's more, gloss black mirror caps, a gloss black painted roof and gloss black B and C pillar covers are standard. Inside, you receive a stylish anthracite headliner and sun visors.
