In a grand showcase of style, sophistication, and cutting-edge technology, BMW has introduced the extensively updated BMW X5 and X6, their renowned Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) and Sports Activity Coupé (SAC). The BMW X6, a Sports Activity Coupé, features slim headlight units with arrow-shaped daytime driving lights and offers the BMW kidney Iconic Glow as an option for six-cylinder models. With the M Sport package now standard, the X6 exudes a dynamic character, accentuated by the octagonal front-end signature, side apertures, and generous use of black surfaces. It features M-specific side skirts and M High-gloss Shadowline trim, as well as trapezoidal exhaust tailpipe trims.

Special Packages for Added Flair

For those who crave exclusivity, the M Sport package is available as an option for the BMW X5 and comes standard in the BMW X6. For the range-topping BMW X5 M60i xDrive, this package includes double bars and an M logo for the BMW kidney grille, M exterior mirror caps in Black high-gloss, and a rear spoiler in Black high-gloss. All model variants can be equipped with the M Sport package Pro. Exclusive body paint finishes, such as M Marina Bay Blue and M Isle of Man Green metallic, are available for the range-topping models. Moreover, you can choose from a range of around 40 BMW Individual special paint finishes to personalize your vehicle further.

The cabin of the new BMW X5 and X6 embraces digital technology with the integration of BMW Operating System 8 and the latest generation of the iDrive control/operation system. The BMW X5 and X6 come with a range of powerful engine options. You can choose from eight-cylinder petrol engines, six-cylinder in-line petrol engines, and six-cylinder in-line diesel engines, all from the latest generation of power units. These engines are paired with a new eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission that ensures smooth power delivery to the BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system.

Moreover, all drivetrains now incorporate 48V mild hybrid technology, providing an additional power boost and improved efficiency. The plug-in hybrid variant, BMW X5 xDrive50e, boasts a system output of 360 kW (including a temporary boost effect) and a significant electric range of 94 to 110 kilometers in the WLTP cycle.

The range-topping models feature a new 4.4-liter V8 petrol engine, derived from high-performance models from BMW M GmbH, with M TwinPower Turbo technology. This engine delivers an impressive 390 kW of power and 750 Nm of torque, propelling the new BMW X5 M60i xDrive and new BMW X6 M60i xDrive from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds.

Both the BMW X5 and X6 come equipped with adaptive suspension as standard, offering a perfect blend of sportiness and long-distance comfort. The adaptive M suspension, available as standard on the range-topping models, provides a particularly firm connection to the body.
