The KIA Picanto will now come with two free tanks of fuel every month
Earlier this year, KIA introduced the new upgraded KIA Picanto. The iconic city sleeker has always been an in-demand car and thats probably because it saves you more than a buck or two in petrol consumption. This coming New Year dont be surprised if you see more KIA Picantos than usual. This will probably be because KIA will be offering a festive deal that sounds like it came straight out of a Black Friday calendar. If you purchase a new KIA Picanto before 31 December 2020, KIA will give you two free tanks of fuel for free every month for the first six months.
Stephen Crosse, Sales Director, KIA Motors South Africa says, As a brand, KIA Motors consistently strives to offer the best value for money. The Picanto is recognized as one of the best cars you can buy in the highly-competitive A-segment, and by including six months worth of free fuel in the package, were extending the value proposition even further.
First on the Picanto range that will be getting this exceptional deal will be the reliable and fuel-efficient Picanto START. It comes with a 1.0 MPI engine that produces 49kW and 96 Nm of torque. It's controlled by a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. The Picanto START comes with a standard line-up of comfort, convenience, and safety features. It comes with dual front airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), and ISOFIX child seat anchors. It comes standard with power steering, an adjustable steering column, manual air-conditioning, a radio with RDS and MP3 capability, Aux and USB connector jacks, Bluetooth connectivity, and two speakers.
Next is the Picanto STREET which is based on the START but comes with additional specifications such as electric front windows, steering wheel-mounted audio remote controls, remote central locking with an alarm and immobilizer, electric windows front and rear, electric heated side mirrors, drivers seat height adjustment and an infotainment system that comes with an 8-inch colour touchscreen that features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The STREET models will have the same 49kW engine as the START but will also offer KIAs evergreen four-cylinder, 1.25-litre MPI engine that produces 61kW and 122 Nm of torque. Customers will have the choice between a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
Coming in fashion, we have the Picanto STYLE which pretty much has the same features as the Picanto STREET, but gives buyers a more stylish offering and thats thanks to the addition of a leather-clad three-spoke steering wheel with audio remote controls and a leather-clad gear shifter. The side mirrors will now feature integrated indicator lamps and gain electric folding capabilities. The Picanto STYLE will ride on 14-inch alloy wheels.
Finally, we have the top of the range Picanto SMART which offers a solution without compromise. It comes with funky LED daytime running lights, sporty alloy wheels, a full-leather interior, and a standard sunroof that sets it apart in the A-segment. The Picanto SMART comes with a 1.2-litre MPI engine that produces 61kW and 122 Nm of torque. It comes equipped with a choice of 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.
The KIA Picanto range comes standard with KIAs industry-leading Unlimited Kilometre, 5-year warranty (inclusive of Roadside Assistance), as well as a 2-year / 30,000km service plan.
