• The title is worth nothing if the sales figures don’t support it, but seeing a 94% increase in sales from February 2017 is quite an achievement, more impressive from this is that out of the 47 347 sold nationally in the month of February, Suzuki has sold a staggering 1 179 vehicles, mostly comprising of the Swift, Ignis, Celerio and Baleno.

    Top selling Suzuki models:

    Swift:              493 units

    Ignis:              213 units

    Celerio:          137 units

    Baleno:          134 units

Surprisingly, this was not just a singular month of great sales, but in January, Suzuki sold a total of 891 vehicles which was also supported by a then record breaking November 2017 sales figure of 1 046 units.

Suzuki South Africa believe that this increase in sales is a combination of a great product, combined with reliable and efficient service and an extended mechanical warranty of 5 years or 200 000km. The extended warranty is part of a promotion that runs through March.

Why is this surprising? Well, we can assume that consumers are finding value within the Suzuki product line-up. Also, with the latest National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (Naamsa) figures, we have seen a 3.8% decrease across new car sales nationwide.
